Laundry Lint

“Laundry Lintwas first published in Nanny Magazine (Spring 2019):

 

I thought I was alone. However, 9-year-old Alex was standing in the doorway to the laundry room as I pulled out clothes full of little white sticky bits from the washing machine.

I grumbled to myself, “Oh for cryin’ out loud. Seriously? Somebody left a tissue in their pocket AGAIN?!”

Alex said, “I don’t know who it was … but whoever it was, he’s really sorry.”
